Walking with the Lord

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word, what beauty He sheds on the way. Is it your desire to fill your life with beauty today? The only way we can make it to our final destination to dwell with the Lord is to walk with Him daily here and now.

Walking with the Lord requires faith. We must step out on faith in the direction that the He leads us. Peter stepped out of the boat on faith and walked on water. Even though he took his eyes off the Lord and fell, he initially took that first step. We walk by faith and not by sight. So, don’t look down at the rough waters, but keep your eyes on the God who walks beside you and keeps you in all your ways.
When we walk with the Lord, He sometimes will lead us where we think we don’t want to go. If you’re afraid, just take His hand. He will make your paths straight.

Often we get weary of the continual struggle and fight to stay upright, let alone on the right path. Don’t forget that the Lord said, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Keep on the path the He has set for you, no matter the storm. When trouble comes, set your face like flint and determine never to be moved.
