Bible Verse:
Isaiah 43: 2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be
with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not
overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee.
Going through
The Lord uses some interesting and sometimes painful
ways to get our attention. We've all heard time
and time again about the purpose of trials. Trials
do come to make us strong. However, we must remember
that HOW we go through is just as important as reaching
the other side. We can't give up when we’re
facing trials, and we must show the world that the
victory has already been won by the way we behave
in our trials. I'm not saying that we must laugh
when the pain is so intense, but we must ask for
and lean on the Lord for our peace.
It’s true that you really find out what you’re
made of when real trouble comes, and particularly
through the storms. Often, because of our lack of
faith, our reaction to our struggles compounds matters
and makes things much worse.
I have learned that we should be content in all
situations. Worry is useless, self-centred, and
has absolutely no purpose. Yet, this is the first
emotion we feel after we are greeted with bad news
or we’re facing a situation that we have no
control over.
So how are we to go through? Start by taking the
time to remember how God has led you in the past.
Ask for His Guidance, and look for the blessings
in your situation. Go through with the Lord and
be victorious.
