Bible Verse:
Ezra 8:23
So we fasted and petitioned our God about this,
and he answered our prayer.
Trouble by degrees
You’ve been praying, searching, and looking
for guidance and direction. One day, you’re
minding your own business, and the next something
happens that changes everything. You feel the spirit
leading. However, you may be the only one who truly
realizes the importance the events will have on
your life and relationship with the Lord going forward.
If
you’re spiritually in tune, you may realize
the spiritual significance of the events right away.
It’s answered prayer. However, sometimes it
may take us a little longer to connect the dots
to see that what we’ve been hoping and praying
for has come to pass.
As
children of God, our lives are not full of coincidences.
The praying, searching and guidance seeking is faithful
preparation for the day when our prayers will be
answered. There are times when you simply know that
it’s God’s will, as you see Him working
in your life.
Therefore,
be careful to stay the course. Don’t hurry
things along or give up when nothing seems to be
happening. Often these moments of divine insight
come with large obstacles and pitfalls, yet many
opportunities to enhance your faith and grow closer
to God. As long as you’re walking with the
Lord, your life will have spiritual significance.
